I wanted shiny black sofas

Seriously? You're a 40+ guy who's married and a father of a young one and you'd have shiny black sofas? Yup that's what my hubby told me today when we were loudly discussing sofa and colour choices. Wow, classy - NOT! Three years ago we chose new sofas. We got brown/olive green ones. Now he's saying he weren't his choice. Then why agree at the time??? Arghhh. He always does this. Soooo annoying. And the kicker? We were talking about colour as the room they are in is small so makes it look smaller. Light colours are best. So shiny balck wouldn't have helped. Plus he chose the coffee and side tables and guess what? All dark colours. And the rug he has to have on the floor? Yup, dark colours. My hubby - a vortex of contradictions.
