it burns my eyes!

my first attempt at blogging today. i'm a bit apprehensive but excited too. i'm not sure how long or often i'll be doing this but i guess it's just a way of sharing and reminding myself of the strange and funny things my hubby, C, says and does. and i guess it also helps me deal with the frustration of his idiosyncratic ways. if i don't laugh about it i'll go nuts!
so, today i put in an air freshener type thing in the bathroom - a wallflower from BBW. white citrus scent which I really like. hubby goes into the bathroom before retiring for the night and next thing I hear is 'arghhh, what is that? it's burning my eyes, it's awful!' it being the white citrus wallflower. now i'm not sure how it can 'burn' his eyes unless he actually stuck his face next to it or poured the liquid scent into his eyes - both I'm sure he wouldn't do - so i'm guessing it's down to his sensitivity to all things perfumed and scented. C, i should explain, seems to be allergic or sensitive to every other thing. animals, duck down, apple peel, Lush stores, perfumes, and numerous others both known and yet to be known.
so no more white citrus in the home which is a shame coz i love it. i was really annoyed at first and his reaction - such a drama king sometimes - but figured prob better to laugh about it and share it with anyone who finds this entry of interest.
just going to add this the list of hubbyisms. i'm sure there will be more soon.
